Michael Grogan,

Co. Westmeath

button accordion player, made

several 78’s in the 1930’s,

inclluding some fiddle duets

with John Howard. They were

still in the 1955 Catalog. Grogan,

from Mullingar, was one of the

few B/C players at the time. His

son Tommy, was also a well known

box player and a traffic warden

who hated giving out tickets. In

his spare time, he played around

the Dublin pubs.
